We can here those words and concepts in modern technical world. In a team if there there is five persons, that five persons are in five capabilities.Five members are coming with five ideas. After blended those five ideas we can see a nice innovation from their team. Let's consider a real world nice innovation which came up on that concept.

Amplus
Amplus is a new innovation of world which innovated from Faculty of Engineering , University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. They innovated a system on basically "digital signage". Digital signage is display which is located in high class super markets and public places like wise railway stations and bus stands. On their system it can capture what is sex of the person who waited in front of the display and it displays lot of advertisements belongs that people. As an example assume that there is a woman infront of the display . At that time it displays lot of advertisements regarding ladies textiles, cosmetics items etc. If there is lot of people it considers the average of peoples' sex. In that time also it works as above mentioned method. Also it can capture the feeling of the persons. Consider that if any person does not satisfy on that advertisement, it  does not display that kind of advertisements within small time duration. It is about the "Amplus" innovation .

But I want to say about team work of them. There were four persons on that project. Two persons from Computer Science and Engineering degree program , another one is from Civil Engineering degree program and other one is from Integrated Computer Engineering. They are experts in image processing, business analysis, web development and computer hardware in order. They came up with that innovation since they were gathered. Because of their gathering they could come up with new innovation. If they were separately whenever they can not come up with innovation.

Let's how team work important to innovations ...



We practiced it in our PPD class rooms. Madame divided us into few groups and she got three persons from each group who are experts in any field. It may be sports, cooking, IT, programming, business, designing or whatever. That three persons want to share their knowledge within group. Then all of the people  must come up with new innovation by blending selected expert areas within given time and must present it to the class.
From that activity we achieved 
          * Time management
          * Presentation skills
          * Leadership
          * Thinking ability
          * Apply learned knowledge to real world problem.

 As a software engineer must have an ability to work with a team. As a software engineer we must come up with new solutions with Business analysis, Programmers, Web developers, Mobile developers, hardware engineers, network engineers, Graphics designers etc. However this activity is important to people who are willing to work in industry as a team.
